I have always been grateful for the talent of my wife Marie Darling. Her work is beautiful, inspiring and humbling. She has also been a huge source of support and encouragment as I worked on this project.
Today I asked her to sketch me a version of an important symbol from the book and in moments she had captured exactly what I had in mind. This sketch will serve as the working packaging for what I send out to my readers and I hope will be a part of the aesthetic of a future published version of this book.
